Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Authors I Wish Would Write Another Book

  1. JK Rowling: No comments, I just NEED more of her writing.
  2. Louisa May Alcott: Just because, Little Women is a very special book for me.
  3. Barry Lyga: I really like the way he writes, Boy Toy was really good.
  4. Sarah Dessen: I have not read all of her books but the idea of another book of hers coming out soon is just wonderful.
  5. Laurie Halse Anderson: Because she´s a great author and has no fear in telling thing the way they are, would love to read a new book by her.
  6. Diane Setterfield: The Thirtheent Tale is one of my all time favorites, so... why not another book? I´d definitely devour it.
  7. Suzanne Collins: I know a lot of you will agree on this one. We just need more.
  8. Gayle Forman: Well I know she has a book coming out on 2013 but I cant wait! I loved If I Stay and Where She Went, touching books. I want to read that kind of thing again.
  9. Anastasia Hopcus:  Because I´m dying to know what happens now with Shadow Hills.
  10. Angela Morrison: Sing Me to Sleep was just beautiful... I don´t need to say more, do I?

I would love it L.M. Alcott wrote again as well...as much as I loved Little Women, I wasn't as impressed with Little Men or Jo's Boys. I visited her home in Concord though and read some of her poetry and other short works of hers...that would be interesting to see more of :)
Poor Rowling probably is scared to death to write again...how in the world would she top HP?

Louisa May Alcott wasn't on my list, but she's a great addition. Her life wasn't that happy, really, but she wrote some amazing books. Wish she was still around -- the world could use more of her wit.
